Speaker: Sarah Crampton
Topic: The Whys and Hows of Advertising
Ever find it hard to decide when and where to advertise? You're not alone! Most of us small business owners have a difficult time making decisions about advertising, especially since the cost can be high. This month's speaker will help you sort through your choices so you make the best decisions.
Topics will include:
• What is advertising?
• Why advertise at all?
• Marketing Mix
• Your advertising dollars are precious - spend them wisely!
• Is your advertising working?
Sarah Crampton studied marketing at Pepperdine University, the American University in Paris and Southern Illinois University. She put her marketing studies to work in the retail world as store manager and then owner of a retail store in California, and worked in the marketing department of a gift company before getting into publishing and launching her own nationally distributed magazine. She chose to relocate to Rogue River in 2009 for its beauty, gentle four seasons, small town pace and corresponding quality of life. Currently, as the marketing specialist for The Rogue River Press, she advises business owners about print advertising choices and other marketing venues.
