Free or Low-cost Marketing: How to Cut Through the Clutter 

Larissa OwensUser-friendly – and free – methods for promoting your business are readily accessible via the internet. While sometimes it’s a wonderful tool, it can be stressful to keep up with constantly changing technology while running your business, personal life and volunteering. Time is money and sometimes too much time is wasted doing things that don’t make you money.

Larissa Owens regularly promotes events and programs and will help you cut through the clutter that we call social media marketing. She’ll break it down into more manageable tasks and let you know what she’s found works and what doesn’t work. She’ll also talk about some ways to promote your business for little cost.

Larissa has owned The Green Book, an annual publication, for seven years. She also runs a graphic design business. She’s the Marketing Director for Women Entrepreneurs of Southern Oregon and enjoys volunteering and promoting businesses and organizations. She was raised in the Medford area and has a B.S. in Communication-Journalism from Southern Oregon University. Larissa and her husband of 18 years have a six-year-old woman entrepreneur/promoter and two cats.

Cancellations must also be received by that date or you will be responsible for payment of the uncancelled event.
