Feng Shui Design Tips for a Trade Fair Booth

Note: Regular meeting date of 2nd Thursday changed to Feb. 7 due to Valentine's Day holiday.

2013 is a year of the Snake in Chinese Astrology — a year in which hard work and thoughtful and considered business decisions lead to success. As you are planning your marketing strategies for this year, you will undoubtedly be looking for networking events to attend. If you'll be promoting your business at events like the upcoming WESO Networking Share Fair (in March) or a Chamber Prime Time, Feng Shui has tips to offer to help your booth or table attract your best clients and stand out from the competition.

Susan Mackenzie moved from the San Francisco Bay Area to Southern Oregon 25 years ago. She has been self-employed in the interior design field for 28 years, a career change she made when she became pregnant with her daughter, Sophia. Prior to becoming a mom, she worked in banking, bookkeeping and owned a home cleaning business.

Susan studied Art History and Comparative Religion at Cabrillo Junior College and Anthropology at UC Santa Cruz, along with a science class for non-science majors in Quantum Physics — which is actually relevant to Feng Shui.

Her decision to study Feng Shui was client driven — several asked her if she did Feng Shui consulting and she got tired of saying no...and while Feng Shui has advice for all aspects of life, she particularly enjoys using Feng Shui information to improve the bottom line for small businesses and solopreneurs.
