    WESO will be an exhibitor at the 15th annual Business Resource Forum on FRIDAY, October 20 in downtown Medford. So, stop by to see us, attend useful workshops, and get more information from exhibitors.

    This is a FREE information event for small-business owners and other entrepreneurs. Get free consultations and attend workshops on topics critical to small businesses. Information booths will be staffed by business and government representatives.

For the last 10 years Kathy has also enjoyed helping entrepreneurs prosper with mindset and money management tools. She runs a private financial coaching practice, and lives in Ashland with her two children.

    Come to Success Circle!

    Each Success Circle begins with a brief mini-program designed to help entrepreneurs. Then, we have our regular meeting.

    Roundtable:  What Is Your Biggest Business Frustration?

    This month we'll open up the discussion to finding out your biggest frustrations in business. We'll explore solutions and surface topics for future Success Circles.

    The informal meetings include open discussion, sharing knowledge and experiences and uniting our talents for problem solving and idea generation.

    These small group meetings are open to WESO members, friends and other business people. If you have a business concern or just want to run new ideas by other women in a safe and supportive environment, then come and join the group. We also need you if you like to share your ideas with others.

    If you're just curious and want to learn more, come to a meeting and find out what we do. You're always welcome. The meetings are FREE!

    If you plan to attend, please register online or RSVP to the phone number or e-mail listed below. (It's helpful to know the anticipated size of the group and who to contact if a meeting is postponed or changed.) We're also happy to answer any questions or receive comments. If possible, please let us know if you need to cancel your registration.

    Are You Truly Resilient or Just Coping?

    Speaker: Carol Putnam

    Many entrepreneurs create their own business because they want to have more control over their work and their life. More control doesn't necessarily mean fewer challenges, less stress, or a better work/life balance. Most people learn how to cope to "get through" a tough time.  Coping is a short-term strategy. Being resilient is a long-term life strategy. 

    In this interactive session, learn the components of resilience, assess your own resilient behaviors, and develop an action plan to shift your behavior from coping to resilient.

    Carol Putnam, Ph.D., is a coach, workshop developer, and master facilitator. For more than 25 years she worked at global, hi-tech powerhouses Hewlett-Packard, Microsoft, and Tektronix. During her tenure, she coached executives, led global teams, managed multiple organizational restructuring initiatives, drove leadership development programs, and cultural change efforts. She also designed and facilitated strategic planning and leadership meetings.

    Carol now utilizes her global experience, education, and training to support clients as they navigate obstacles and opportunities in their professional and personal lives. An advocate of thriving over striving, her business is called: Why Strive? Thrive! 

    A success catalyst, she partners with clients to help them reach their goals by providing individualized coaching plans, support, and accountability. A member of the International Coach Federation, she provides clear and actionable coaching plans and support to her clients.
