The Cathie Izor Scholarship

Women Entrepreneurs of Southern Oregon (WESO) is proud to announce the launch of the Cathie Izor Scholarship, a new initiative designed to support and empower the next generation of women business leaders in the Southern Oregon community.
This scholarship is named in honor of Cathie Izor, a dedicated community leader who has served as a passionate WESO Board Member for over 25 years. Her commitment of service to female empowerment serves as the foundation for this award.
WESO is dedicated to empowering the next generation of women leaders. By providing financial assistance for education and professional training, WESO aims to foster local economic growth by reducing the barriers women often face when starting their own business ventures. This scholarship is made possible through the generous sponsorship of several WESO members.
SCHOLARSHIP DETAILS
In its inaugural year, the program will award two $1,000 scholarships to deserving women. To qualify, applicants must be enrolled in a college or trade program, pursuing a career path focused on entrepreneurship or self-employment within Southern Oregon.
- Award Amount: Two scholarships of $1,000 each.
- Eligibility: Women in Southern Oregon enrolled in higher education or trade programs with an entrepreneurial goal or focus.
