Going Up? How to Craft Your 30-second Elevator Speech to Take You to the Top

How do you confidently and quickly answer when someone asks, "what do you do?" The next 30 seconds could gain you a client or better yet, an investor in your company, if you are able to convince them to do business with you. Being concise is the key: you only have 30 seconds to impress, tell and sell. Simone Stewart will take you through three easy steps to crafting an elevator speech, and will give examples of where to use it. This will be an interactive exercise with your peers. You will walk away with a solid elevator speech to take you to the top.
Simone is the SOU Small Business Development Center Client Services Manager and a civic leader dedicated to community outreach and local economic development. She is the Vice Chair of the City of Medford Arts Commission, sits on the planning committee for the SOU Women's Leadership Conference and is a Medford Chamber of Commerce Ambassador. Simone graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with her Bachelor's degree and is currently working toward her MBA in Marketing at SOU. Simone owned and operated a consignment and antiques shop in Ashland, Oregon, and she was most recently the Director of Operations and Marketing for a technology services company.

Cancellations must also be received by that date or you will be responsible for payment of the uncancelled event.
