Intentional Networking: Applying Strategy to Your Virtual Experiences

Speaker: Marisa Brown

As businesspeople it’s not surprising one of the key reasons we attend groups or events is for the networking. The chance to get in front of potential new clients or collaborators and form a relationship is extremely appealing.

However, if you’ve ever felt like going to business engagement events was akin to a forced, awkward intimate situation like dating...well, you’re not alone!

BUT I promise you that networking doesn’t have to be draining!

Join us as we help you navigate the fears and woes of networking and provide you with tools, tips, and conversation starters to give your networking strategy the ultimate “Intentional Glow Up!”

We’ll pack your strategy toolbox with activities to add to your own events, tools to spice up your virtual profiles all while guiding you through some exercises to invite more intention into your own networking.

So, come on in...the networking’s mighty fine!

About Marisa Brown:
As dynamic as her purple hair allows, Marisa is no stranger to putting herself out there even in the most daunting of situations. The former Wildland Engine Boss put everything on the line to start her own business. Through her business Venus Promotions, she was able to carve out a niche for herself on LinkedIn and formed a network that speaks for its proverbial self. With nothing but hope and resilience she set out on a mission to help more women take up their lives and go confidently in the direction of their dreams. What started as a small venture soon took on a life of its own and everything from Live speaking events to Virtual panels and podcasts started reaching out to book her. While Marisa is still a fledgling in the speaker world, she more than makes it up for it by "pulling back the veil" as she calls it and unleashing the kind of vulnerability most people aren't used to. She is the current program director for WESO, on the board of a few non-profit organizations, and a consistent panelist for REPS events. A native Southern Oregonian, Marisa holds a degree in Psychology from SOU and is a mom to three fabulous children.
