We do not and shall not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, creed, gender, gender expression, age, national origin, ancestry, disability, marital status, sexual orientation, or military status in any of our activities or operations. These activities include, but are not limited to, the selection of members, volunteers, speakers, sponsors, and vendors, the awarding of scholarships, and the provision of networking and educational programs. To qualify for an event registration refund, the registered attendee must contact a WESO board member by five (5) hours before the meeting/event's listed start time and notify them of the cancellation. The board member who receives the cancellation communication then notifies the treasurer of the canceller's name, amount, and date of registration. The treasurer will then refund the registration payment through Affinipay. The board member also notifies the website administrator or website assistant.
A registered attendee who wants to cancel after the deadline may also substitute another person. The substitute must then inform a board member at the WESO event registration table.
Board Member exception to cancellation policy: WESO board members can cancel a paid registration at any time, so long as they did not attend the meeting, and the cost will be refunded.
