Women Entrepreneurs of Southern Oregon (WESO) proudly announces the second year of the Cathie Izor Scholarship, an initiative designed to support and empower the next generation of women business leaders in the Southern Oregon community.
This scholarship is named in honor of Cathie Izor, a dedicated community leader who has served as a passionate WESO Board Member for over 25 years. Her commitment of service to female empowerment serves as the foundation for this award.
WESO is dedicated to empowering the next generation of women leaders. By providing financial assistance for education and professional training, WESO aims to foster local economic growth by reducing the barriers women often face when starting their own business ventures. This scholarship is made possible through the generous sponsorship of WESO members.
The program awards one scholarship to one woman in Southern Oregon who is enrolled in a college or trade program and is pursuing a path of entrepreneurship or self-employment. Applications for this $1,000 scholarship open in January!
For just $100, WESO members have the opportunity to support aspiring women entrepreneurs and students in Southern Oregon, while also gaining visibility and recognition for their businesses.
